Shopping the 38th Annual People's Choice Awards

For those of us with a great  "passion for fashion"  watching the award shows is really something we look forward to each season.  Searching through the inventory from our list of fabulous merchants to find just the perfect item is like playing a "Go Fish" matching game of sorts.  The experts often tell me that when they find the right match they feel as if they hit the lottery.

Last night during the 38th annual People's Choice Awards the look seemed to trend towards very fashion forward dresses with interesting structure and hi-lo hemlines. We also saw gowns with illusion tops with delicate overlays and bright jewel colors hinting at Spring showing up.  Some of the dresses resembled works of art.  Linear earrings were the popular choice for jewelry to compliment the looks on many of the celebrities.

The experts and I enjoyed discussing our favorites and debating our own " best dressed " list for the evening. Demi Lovato was a show stopper in her tangerine gown by Marchesa.  We turned our shopping into a bit of a contest to see who could find the best match for each special gown.  We do have a lot of fun shopping these special events and now we can look forward to the next award show coming up this Sunday.
